Music Appreciation
Description of Class
- Study the lives of famous composers of the Baroque, Classical and Romantic and Impressionistic eras.
- Learn how God used difficult circumstances to create some of the most beautiful music of our time.
- Listen to popular tunes by each composer and be able to name that tune.
Students will listen to Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, and Ravel - Compare the styles of each period
After years of compiling, organizing and formatting scores of music, every song is presented in a visual format that is engaging and interactive. Students love visuals and this allows them to recall the tune while exposing them to great musical works. Join us as we study and listen to these great artists playing name that tune!
