EXCELLENCE IN WRITING
Course Description: This course prepares students for high school English. Due to the level of the class, previous experience with IEW or equivalent programs with tutor approval is required. This course utilizes Excellence in Writing, emphasizing grammar and editing skills, and incorporates expository, persuasive, narrative and research writing. Students will be required to complete weekly writing assignments.

- IEW Student Resource Notebook (available as a $10 ebook at iew.com)
Optional Supplies (to be used at home): if you decide to purchase these, I strongly recommend buying them used from either homeschoolclassifieds.com or Amazon.com.
- IEW Student Writing Level C DVD's (recorded live with Mr. Pudewa)
Expectations:
Students will follow proper classroom etiquette
Come to class on time and prepared to fully participate
Diligently complete all writing assignments
